Why this game exists. Most of the time our hands run on autopilot while the mind drifts somewhere else. Sky Volt is a small experiment about noticing that moment: the flying becomes automatic quickly, and then the road asks a question you can only answer if you were really there.

Steer a flying electric car through an evening city. Hold to thrust up, switch on grip to cling to walls, roofs and the underside of platforms, flip off rooftops and slip through laser locks upside down.

Every now and then three gates block the way. Only one is right: the answer to a quick task on a board, or a number hidden somewhere on the way — if you were looking.

Controls

  • Space / ↑ / W, or hold the mouse or a finger — thrust
  • Shift / ↓ / S, or the ⇅ button — grip on / off
  • P — pause, M — sound

This is a research version of a small attention study. The game starts only after you agree that it records your runs (timing of presses, the car's height, gates — no name, no text, no video). Everything stays in your browser; if you want to help, press Save results and send me the file.
